    The Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic (ÚVZ SR) classes solária as body-care facilities under Act 355/2007.     The ÚVZ SR page on facilities for the public explains that solária count as body-care facilities (zariadenia starostlivosti o ľudské telo). Since an amendment to Act 355/2007 took effect on 21 July 2020, the authorities issue no decision before opening; the operator sends a notification of the start of operations to the local RÚVZ.
