How strong is strong?
Brands grade tingles from mild to hot, and MEGATAN's taxonomy records a tingle intensity for each product so you can compare across brands. Mild tingles suit tanners trying the effect for the first time; hot tingles from Devoted Creations, Supre Tan and Power Tan are for people who use them regularly.
A tingle can be an accelerator (no color) or a tingle bronzer. If you have never used a tingle, choose a mild accelerator tingle first and use it on the body only. Apply a small amount, avoid freshly shaved skin, and do not layer it with a second tingle.
Who should not use a tingle
Beginners, anyone with sensitive or reactive skin, and anyone who wants to tan their face. On skin that is not used to tanning beds a tingle can feel uncomfortable for hours. If you are unsure, choose a hybrid bronzer instead, which gives dark results without the heat.
