Tingle Lotion

Tingle lotions, also known as 'hot action' or 'warming' lotions, are sunbed lotions for experienced tanners chasing deep, dark colour. They contain warming ingredients such as benzyl nicotinate or methyl nicotinate, which create a distinct tingling, warming sensation and a temporary flushed look that fades after the session. Some tanners love how the tingle feels; others find it too intense. Because the sensation can be strong, tingle lotions are not recommended for beginners or for sensitive skin, and a patch test before first use is sensible.
