Australian Gold Peptide Pro is a hybrid sunbed lotion designed to function as a tanning intensifier while enhancing the benefits of red light therapy sessions. Formulated with a tyrosine intensifier and a hydrating skincare blend, it is aimed at intermediate tanners looking to maximise their tanning routine.

    What our team says

Dolly May considers Australian Gold to be one of her favourite tanning brands. Reviewing Peptide Pro, she shared: "It's got a dual-action formula, so it works as a tanning intensifier with the tyrosine while enhancing the benefits of red light therapy." She also highlighted the scent profile: "The fragrance of this one, it does state it is a Tropical Rush, but it really gives you them like zesty notes with like pineapple, coconut and amber." Regarding its place in a tanning routine, she noted: "As it is an intensifier, this one is for the intermediate tanners rather than the beginners."

    Who it suits

This lotion suits intermediate tanners who want to combine tanning acceleration with red light therapy. It is also ideal for those seeking a skincare-infused blend featuring collagen, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, green tea, and vitamins A, E, and B5 for deep hydration.

Who might give it a miss

Beginners and individuals with fairer skin may want to give this a miss, as Dolly May noted they are better suited to an accelerator. Dolly May did not raise any drawbacks during her review.

Australian Gold, especially Australian Gold Peptide Pro. This brand is one of my favourites in regards to tanning because they use a lot less harmful ingredients to support the skin barrier a little bit more and also support more sensitive skin barriers to really help us perform, and they have a good variety as to who they can support with these creams. It's got a dual-action formula, so it works as a tanning intensifier with the tyrosine while enhancing the benefits of red light therapy while you are on that sunbed session. It's got a skincare blend infused with collagen, hyaluronic acid, amino acids and green tea for deep hydration and a plumper look. And then we've also got things in there like vitamins, so vitamin A, E and B5 to help fight free radicals. Whatever that is, I don't know. The fragrance of this one, it does state it is a Tropical Rush, but it really gives you them like zesty notes with like pineapple, coconut and amber. It's really fresh and really fantastic to use on the beds if you are trying to support that skin barrier a little bit more and, let's just be real, have a high-performance tanning cream in rotation to help you really maximise that acceleration power. As it is an intensifier, this one is for the intermediate tanners rather than the beginners, because the intensifiers tend to intensify results that are already built, whereas if you are a little bit more fairer, you're probably better off with an accelerator.
