Matrixyl is a trademarked peptide ingredient from Sederma, a supplier of cosmetic ingredients. Peptides are short chains of amino acids, and Matrixyl is used in skincare formulas designed to smooth the look of fine lines, particularly around the eyes and forehead. You will sometimes find it in premium tanning and aftercare products alongside moisturisers, for skin that looks and feels smooth.
