    DHA

    Dihydroxyacetone - a colourless sugar that reacts with amino acids in the skin's surface layer to produce a brown colour. DHA is the active ingredient in all self-tanners and many sunbed bronzing lotions. The tan develops over 2-8 hours and lasts 5-7 days.
