    Bronzer (Cosmetic)

Cosmetic bronzers are temporary colourants applied to the skin to mimic the look of a tan. Unlike self-tanners that develop colour over time through a chemical reaction with the skin's outermost layer, bronzers sit on the surface and provide instant, visible results. They are typically formulated with pigments like DHA (in very low concentrations for immediate colour), caramel, or iron oxides suspended in creams, lotions, powders, or sprays. These products are ideal for achieving a sun-kissed glow for a night out, a photoshoot, or simply to add warmth and definition to the complexion. Because they are not absorbed into the skin, their colour washes off easily with soap and water, making them a commitment-free way to achieve a tanned look.
